Good News, Bad News

Submitted by JanieBelle on 22 June 2007 - 10:10pm.

Wow. While this is a good news, bad news situation, it's not over yet. And it's progress. While this fight is not yet won or lost, let's not forget that five years ago, even two years ago, this much would have been unthinkable.

Progression is slow, too slow, but it is unrelenting, and we shall overcome. Each and every day that goes by, the religious fascists that long for some dark age theocracy become more marginalized and they lose ground to ever enlightening minds.

The vocal minority of shrill insanity gets louder but smaller, ever more shrill but ever more ridiculed, ever more scoffed at, ever more ignored.

There is yet hope, and more hope than there was yesterday. For that, I am grateful.
