As I understand it, these people are members of the "Quiverfull" movement. They believe that their purpose is to create "quiverfulls" of "arrows" (aka children) for the Army of God. That, of course, makes it even creepier. My favorite statement about this case to date: "It's a vagina, not a clown car."
